YouTube Copyright Malfunctions and a Switchover to Twitch

Last night we did our first Monthly Movie Mayhem! It was a mess!  Initially everything when off without a hitch, exactly as I had planned.  Then disaster kind of hit as I learned YouTube Copyright bots don't give a shit about the public domain.  I tried to save it but they killed the stream.  I disputed their claim, they had declined my appeal with no real discussion.  A bit into the night, I decided to hastily start up a twitch account and restart the show where I left off.  And that seemed to go smoothly.  No real hiccups during the show. Alas...in my haste to create the page, I didn't have one box checked, and so the recording of the show was not made.  I should have been recording on OBS from the get-go but I just didn't think it through.  At any rate...the first show of Monthly Movie Mayhem is now Lost Media.  Perhaps someday I will record a version of it for posterity.

From now on, I will host the shows on Twitch, and create playlists on YouTube of the shows.  The recorded live segments will be posted as videos, and the playlists will include the public domain movies from other sources...so I can't get hit with ridiculous copyright claims.  So if you wish to view the show as it was meant to be...then you can.

Here you can watch my frustations before I decide to restart the program over on Twitch...sad...
