I was watching Kindergarten Cop last night. Here's something odd that I noticed: at the end of the film the main little kid has been caught by his dad, the bad guy. So there is this final showdown yada yada yada and the bad guy/kid's dad gets shot to death. Now think about this. The first time this kid has ever met his father not only was he a huge prick who scared the living shit of him, but then he sees his dad get shot to death by his kindergarten teacher, then his grandmother beaten down with a baseball bat after she shoots his kindergarten teacher...and then when all is said and done and the kindergarten teacher recovers, his mom and the teacher BANG.
Now wouldn't this all WARP A KID? I mean after he has met his asshole father for the first time he is shot to death. Then the next time we see the kid he's just in class like NOTHING happened. Then the man who killed his father took his father's place by his mothers side. Talk about weird issues. That kid needs a therapist!
Anyhow those are my thoughts on Kindergarten Cop right now.
